Kalapusa from MySpace.com has posted pictures of a Niko Bellic sculpture he has made. The sculpture is around 8 inches tall and is based on one of the game's familiar promo shots. Sculpey clay was used for the model, which has a metal skeleton made of screws, neeldes for the finger bones and acrylic paints.

For more images and a step-by-step guide on how Kalapusa made this model take a look at his Niko Bellic album.
I have found 6 new Chinatown Wars screenshots floating around the web. Nothing groundbreaking but it's something to look at none the less.
Check out the Chinatown Wars gallery for all 6 screenshots.
MajorNelson has posted last years Xbox Live activity on his blog. GTA IV has managed to claim 3rd place, which I think is a little odd as I never found the multiplayer all that satisfying. Perhaps that's because I'm more of a co-op man but Rockstar are obviously doing something right!
Over the past week or so there have been a load of new player modifications, made by the community, for GTA IV. The majority of these modfications are new items of clothing to buy in the shops around Liberty City and many of them are of a very high standard, as can be seen below.
I feel that a special mention should go out to LaMuertex for his Shoei Helmet, which is of an exceptionally high standard.
Alexander Blade has released a new tool that allows LUA scripts to be implemented into GTA IV. This new tool is called Alice, which gives users the opportunity to make complex mods, not unlike CLEO for San Andreas.
It's still early days for Alice but the tool represents yet another huge step for GTA IV modding. On the subject of modding we have an ever increasing selection of mods for GTA IV in our downloads section, so why not take a look!
Just a quick note to wish all those who celebrate Chrsitmas a Merry one. Take care & all the best from all of us at Codename!
Earlier today we reported that Nintendo Power had published a quote by Rockstar Leeds' president Gordon Hall. He referrs to the narcotics trafficking as "standalone" and explains that it will be tied in with the Social Club. This sounds an awful lot like an interactive narcotics market, much alike that of Drug Lord.
If this is in fact true then how will it tie in with the GTA gameplay?
Nintendo Power is has published new information on Chinatown Wars. Rockstar Leeds President, Gordon Hall explains;
Chinatown Wars is much bigger than anything we have ever done before [in terms of scope]: more odd jobs, deeper missions, and more moments of over-the-top action. We have a huge interaction with the Rockstar Social Club, a massive [narcotics trafficking] game that would stand alone on its own. The list goes on and on; this thing is huge. We are very proud of all of the PSP games we have made, especially the two GTA games, but this game is far bigger.
I for one loved GTA on the PSP and I am interested to see whether Chinatown Wars can live up to the above statement, especially since they are claiming it will be bigger than the PSP environments despite the obvious hardware limitations.
Sometimes in the world of modding the most subtle tweaks are sometimes the most statisftying. Take Krazymond's new Dashboard Camera mod, for GTA IV. The mod basically offsets the in-vehicle camera letting you view the vehicle you are driving's dashboard.
To see the result feast your eyes on the below screens.
You can find the Dashboard mod in the downloads section.
The New York Times has awarded GTA IV it's Game of the Year.
GTA IV came out in April, and for the rest of the year I kept waiting for some other new game to captivate and refuse to release me the way this masterpiece from Rockstar did. I’m still waiting. Beyond its formidable craft, apart from its well-balanced combat and driving mechanics, what impresses most about G.T.A. IV is its writing. It is one of the few games that even try to take on the real world in any adult way. (Of course, the game’s Liberty City setting is a parody of modern New York.) Penetrating through all the game’s gangster trappings is a hunger to engage with the idiocies, the contradictions and even some of the good things in modern America. After all, someone has to. (For Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.)
