The next Xbox Original title coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace is San Andreas. The game will be availalble for 1200 Microsoft Points (£10/$15). The game will be available around October 20th in North America, however; there are no release dates for other territories.
John Schappert, Xbox Live's main man, reveals he doesn't know when we can expect to see GTA IV's upcoming DLC. The content, orginally scheduled for an August release is already a couple of months behind schedule.
When asked by EuroGamer.net whether or not wee will see the DLC before Christmas he replied;
"Frankly, I don't know, Rockstar are the people to ask for that."
I'm sure Schappert is just as eager to get the content online as we are but for now we will all have to wait...
The GTA IV PC trailer has just become available, exclusive to Gametrailers.com.
If you ask me the trailer feels drastically different to those released before the console versions of the game. Naturally the visual quality is noticeably higher but the music and the scenes chosen make the game feel more tragic and not quite as dark and grungy.
There is a rumour circulating that the Playstation 3 version of GTA IV will be getting trophies. The news comes from ps3trophies.co.uk. There's nothing official, and the trophies are identical to the Xbox 360's achievements but if you want to have a look at the list then take a look at the GTA IV PS3 section!
I have always planned on covering a selection of games under the "Codename" umbrella and the second game series to get a site is Saints Row; with CodenameSaintsRow.net. Naturally the site covers THQ's Saints Row series and although it doesn't have alot of content just now that will change upon the game's release later this month.
For now why not take a look at some of the screenshots, videos, and pre-release information by visiting CodenameSaintsRow.net.
Italian magazine "Game Machine" have details of the upcoming PC version of GTA. Thanks to PlanetGTA & gta-series.com for the information;
There's no doubt that people are having reservations about how true Chinatown Wars will remain to the GTA brand. Many regard Nintendo's DS as a platform for a younger audience and I think it's a fair assumption to say that the DS generally appeals to younger gamers (Despite having plenty to offer to older gamers).
Well rest assured Chinatown Wars will be no less GTA than any other game in the series, and to prove that Rockstar have included the ability to buy and sell drugs in the game. No information has been released as to how involved drug dealing will be but I'm sure Rockstar will have something up their sleeve.
Also, in an article with Edge Online Sam Houser talks about his commitment to keeping Chinatown Wars true to the GTA series and that Nintendo are in full support of making a mature, hard-core title.
With the Nintendo DS getting Chinatown Wars there has been talk (rumours) of a possible title for the Wii. In an interview with Nintendo Power Rockstar's Dan Houser discusses why the Wii wasn't chosen for the next GTA title.
Q: It seems like a more natural progression for the series to move to Wii rather than the DS. Is there any reason why you didn’t take it there first?
A: It didn’t feel natural to us, I guess. It really was that the DS felt like it had a lot of interesting challenges that would be totally different from what we’d done in the past. The stylus and the chance to use minigames in that way was really interesting and exciting to us, and we thought we could integrate seamlessly between those two modes. And it would be the chance to make something really good on a handheld with our handheld-focused team. That was really why we went that way. We haven’t really done any concrete, major thinking about the Wii, one way or another. They’re sort of separate issues.

We have a few Chinatown Wars screenshots for you. The screenshots are scans from a magazine, however, they give a sense of what we can expect from the game and how the Nintendo DS screens will be used.
